For tomorrow, we will wake up to a Toyota Tuesday!

that 4runner looks like it’s tearing up - “a whole day, all for me?”

heh, it was my rental car — PHOTO OP
anyway:
“and my brothers and sisters too!”
“and mother and father”
“and grandmother and grandfather”
“and aunts and uncles”
“and cousins”
I may have taken it... too far

Nice looking 4Runner. That new face is starting to grow on me

I love it, except in white. In white, it looks like a Juggallo in face paint.

Favorite is a trail edition in red. If only I had 40k lying around.

Thank you. In particular, I found the smoked headlights a nice touch.
I started a review on it, but scrapped it after a few days of writing.

Rear window use for the 4 Runner

Interesting trend around here. The new Camry is an absolute hit and frankly I haven’t seen a 2014 or ‘15 Corolla in about a year.
![]() 08/03/2015 at 23:14 |

This particular one had a power rear window.
Fancy.

I would get a Trail as well, but in blue.
![]() 08/03/2015 at 23:16 |

Here, new Camrys are being picked off the lots like hotcakes, Corollas regulated to the Rental Car EXILE.

I’m sorry, but the new Corolla sucks. The Matrix was the only interesting version (really liked the last gen) of it for the last decade as well.

No love for the Auris?
About the Corolla, yeah, the new one doesn’t look half-bad, but with Toyota’s goal not to impress or piss anyone off, doesn't seem that good of a car.

Europe gets the wagon version (of whatever Toyota calls it) which I think looks better. We don’t get a fuckin’ wagon. Why don’t we get a wagon.
![]() 08/03/2015 at 23:22 |

Simple. Americans don't like wagons.
![]() 08/03/2015 at 23:27 |
|
But they do! The just call them “crossovers” because marketing and stupid Americans.
![]() 08/03/2015 at 23:29 |

Hmm... X1 and GLA are notable examples. Wish we got the 5 Wagon and not the GT.

I think it’s basic 4 Runner Equipment now.

I just think the Auris looks better as a Toyota than a Scion. Maybe I can buy and just swap the entire face of the damn thing from parts ordered from Australia.
T_T wagon

Agree.
![]() 08/03/2015 at 23:58 |

I think they’re pretty hideous. Still, decent to drive in that oldschool BOF RWD truck sort of way. Of course, they get awful fuel economy to match that feel/ride.
![]() 08/03/2015 at 23:58 |

Yeah, it was included on the rental I drove recently.
![]() 08/04/2015 at 00:04 |

That is one cool rental.
![]() 08/04/2015 at 00:12 |

*shrugs* It was a 4Runner. Probably the most common car made that still has a rear window like that.
![]() 08/04/2015 at 04:01 |

I just can't help but see a make-up covered metal-head when I see this generation of 4Runner. I like it, but it's always in the back of my mind.

kill ‘em with fire!
![]() 08/04/2015 at 10:02 |

Hmm. I am not the biggest fan of it, but it is at least more interesting.

The anger is evident.
